Puritan Colonial Bentgrass, Agrostis capillaris 'SR 7150', is a versatile Colonial bentgrass, bred for superior performance and color to traditional Highland bentgrass. SR 7150 is best selected for low maintenance lawns and golf courses (faiways or roughs) in the northern United States and Canada or as part of a winter overseeding blend in warm climate zones, especially on ultradwarf bermudagrass greens. SR 7150 shows excellent brown patch resistance, stress and wear tolerance. The darker green color of SR 7150 makes it better for combining with other species than older lighter green varieties. This is a good choice for overseeding fine fescue lawns or lawns with existing bentgrass. SR 7150 can be mown from ½ inch with a reel mower to an unmown meadow look (see secondary photo, late summer).

Features & Benefits: Disease resistant, dark green color all seasons, quick to establish, low water and fertilizer requirements
