Native Narrow-Leaved Milkweed - 1/16 ounce

$15.00

Our Pacific Northwest Native Narrow-leaved Milkweed, Asclepias fascicularis, is sourced in Oregon - grown from wild, hand-collected Willamette Valley native seed. Milkweed flowers are known butterfly and moth attractors. Milkweed is an important larval food source for monarch butterflies and a nectar source for bees.

Narrow-leaved Milkweed blooms June through October, longer than others. This Monarch and other pollinators magnet plant becomes an island oasis when most species have bloomed out.

Perennial Narrow-leaved Milkweed likes zones 3-9, and has the ability to grow in a wide range of conditions, including hard clay soil. Flower color is white to pale pink. Reaches a height of about 3'.
