Our most drought tolerant conventional turf is a 3-way turf type tall fescue blend, featuring Rhizomatous Tall Fescues, recommended for full sun to partial shade. In addition to excellent drought tolerance, PT 301 Water Smarter is disease resist, wear tolerant and salt tolerant. Tall fescues are the most deeply rooted of the turf grasses, with a wider blade and upright growth pattern. Accepts poor drainage. Effective erosion control. Suitable for lawns and athletic fields. An excellent choice for overseeding and spot repairing tall fescue sod.
