PC 2.0 Creeping Bentgrass, Agrostis stolonifera, a creeping bentgrass, with medium green color, great spring green-up, dense texture, rapid establishment and a wide range of adaptability. This is an improved bentgrass variety that pays homage to Penncross with a look to the future. Displays a dense, upright and aggressive growth habit and features an exceptional ability to compete against Poa annua. Good heat, cold and wear tolerance with very good winter color. Resists dollar spot and other diseases. If maintained properly*, PC 2.0 provides an excellent playing surface for golf greens, tees, fairways and other lawn sports--a great choice for the DIY home putting green.
*We recommend creeping bentgrass only for avid lawn enthusists, as this species requires frequent mowing and other maintenance.
